Your overnight whitewater rafting trip will depart from River Runners Riverside Resort in Buena Vista, Colorado. You will experience the best whitewater possible in two days rafting in Colorado.

We will outfit your crew with the latest whitewater rafting gear. This gear will keep you warm, safe and fun while rafting on the Arkansas River. Your personal gear will be packed in a dry bag supplied by River Runners. All the gear will be sent down the Arkansas River to camp by gear boat. You and your crew will be transported up river to the put in for the Numbers. The Numbers section of the Arkansas River is the most continuous class III-V whitewater stretch of river on the Arkansas River and possible all of Colorado.

Your professional whitewater river rafting guide will provide a rafting safety and training orientation before you hit the river. Once on the river you will paddle hard challenging giant boulders, big waves and huge drops.

Stop for a catered riverside lunch relaxing and enjoying the views of the surrounding 14,000 foot peaks of the Rocky Mountains. After this break it is back to the rapids. You will challenge the the Narrows Section of the Arkansas River rafting right through the town of Buena Vista, Colorado.

Your whitewater rafting team will paddle into the world famous Browns canyon of the Arkansas River. This remote canyon is beautiful and is full of unique geology, wildlife and great whitewater rafting. Soon you will reach camp where one of your whitewater guides has already set up an elaborate camp. Shelter, kitchen, tents and lavatory we bring it all and practice leave no trace camping.

You have reached camp early with plenty of daylight. You may hike, swim, fish or just relax. Your new home for the evening in quiet and remote. You whitewater rafting guides not are not only experts on the water but experts in the kitchen. Your river guides will prepare a meal that you would not expect in this remote wilderness campsite. After dinner your river guides will clean up while you relax with your friends around a campfire listening to the Arkansas River flow by.

Morning brings hot coffee and a hot breakfast. A leisurely morning as the river guides pack up camp and load the whitewater rafts for the rapids ahead. You have challenged the biggest rapids the day before and everyone is practiced up on their whitewater rafting skills. So paddle hard and take these whitewater rapids in the teeth.

At the end of your rafting trip you will be transported back to River Runners Riverside Resort where you may take a hot shower, have lunch at our Riverside Grill or have a drink. Your whitewater rafting photos will be up on our big screen HD televisions. You may purchase these images on CD or print.
