We can provide your family all your camping gear, set up your tents, cook all your meals and clean up after too.

Your family overnight whitewater river rafting vacation will begin at our Riverside Rafting Resort in Buena Vista, Colorado. We are located right on the Arkansas River just a short drive from any Colorado vacation destination. We will supply you with a dry bag for all your gear, outfit you with the latest river rafting equipment to keep you warm, safe and happy. Enjoy 2 days of fun class III whitewater with your friends and family in a Colorado State Park.

After a detailed whitewater rafting safety orientation your family will be on the Arkansas river. Depending on the water levels and the experience of your family we will travel up the Arkansas River and put in to raft the Narrows section of the Arkansas River. Your gear will be taken to camp by one of our gear boaters who will begin to set up camp. This whitewater professional will set up an elaborate kitchen, shelter and even your tents.

Your family will raft through some of Colorado's best whitewater in the Narrows. Stop on the side of the Arkansas River for a catered riverside lunch prepared by your whitewater river guides. Your rafting party will then raft right into the world famous Browns Canyon of the Arkansas River. Here you will paddle through more of Colorado's world famous class III rapids. You will definitely get wet.

After paddling about 10-12 miles you will reach camp all set up and waiting for you. Your family will have plenty of time to enjoy this remote camping destination. You may fish in the Arkansas River that boasts 2,000 trout per mile. Hike a side canyon to gain altitude to see the surrounding 14,000 foot peaks of the Collegiate Mountain Range. Your guides have lots of knowledge about the surrounding areas history, wildlife and geology. They also know a lot of riverside games to entertain the restless.

You evening will compose of spending time with your family and friends with no distractions. Sitting around a campfire sharing memories of your day rafting and creating new ones. A hot hearty dinner will be served that all are sure to enjoy. Be sure to let us know of any dietary needs when you book your trip.

Sleep under the stars in your North Face tent and your 3 inch paco sleeping pad with the sound of the river echoing through Browns Canyon. Morning will bring a hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate. You may fish or explore before a hearty hot breakfast is served.

You will then be transported back to River Runners Riverside Resort where you may take a hot shower or join in a Beach Volleyball game. Photos from you adventure will be on a giant HD television so that you may relive your incredible whitewater rafting experience. You may purchase your photos on CD or print to take them home with you. River Runners Riverside Grill will be open for lunch or a beverage of your choice.
